The Friend Zone
You have a friend, or maybe a best friend of the opposite sex. One of your dreams is to be with them, as a couple, not just as ‘friends.’ The only problem is you’re afraid. Afriad that he/she won’t feel the same way, or that you think about him/her everyday but you just don’t want to ruin that strong, close, and trustworthy friendship that took forever to build up. Maybe he/she feels the same way, you don’t know. But yet again you think, “Oh! We’re just best friends, that’s all we’ll ever be.” Face it, you just don’t want to see him or her get hurt again after seeing that person get heartbroken a million times by other people, you don’t want to be the person that caused them so much pain. The biggest stage for two people who have been through a lot together is that stage were they don’t want to hurt each other it’s called “the innocents.” You like them but you’re too scared to let your feelings out, because some things are better left unsaid. You honestly can’t imagine seeing him/her get hurt or cry, you have that strong passionate feeling that you are better for them and that you can make them happier. How long will it take for someone to make the first move? What if he/she feels the same way? You two could be the perfect couple. It could happen, just have hope. Don’t give up. There’s always a chance for everything, maybe even true love. Mistakes are mistakes and problems are problems, don’t let that get in the way. Keep fighting.
